I'm sure he knows exactly where everything is loldude... you are overdue for a cleanout !
Yes it's such a bad mess. I'm looking forward to a big cleaning and organizing, not a "clean out" though. Once I get all my keepers built I can see what's left and offer more for sale.
The pickers are looking for anything they can make a buck on. All my "wealth" is in mid 90's two-stroke Seadoo performance parts. If they ran up on my stash I think folks would tell them "call Matt Braley". I betcha 10 different people contacted me to tip me off about that X4 hull that passed through ebay a while back.
I'm set to close on my new home Dec 30th!! There is a garage next to it as big as the house and a canal in the backyard. It's gonna be great to have more room.
I would also love to check out your stash of parts and look at all the history. I'll come give you a hand moving if you show me all the vintage performance parts and what not haha
96 XP800!
Keep the 2 strokes alive!
time to invest in some plywood, bolts, 2x4's and build a long wall shelf, then go to home depot and pick up about 15 of these

they are on sale for $10 right now, and sturdy as hell, I can jam pack them with massive weight and still stack them 4 high w/o fearing collapse. I have 12 of these and i'm actually planning on stopping by home depot tonight to grab 4 more and finally get rid of all the cheezy thin plastic tubs for good.
The ones they sold up until about March looked the same but had the diamond pattern on the lid, they were a little sturdier than these but still, compared to the options out there, these rock.
Got a little progress to report here.... I stopped by the fiberglass shop and it's almost ready for primer. I was reading in the 96 Racing Handbook how PPG concept is actually the correct paint.
The waterbox just got here from that carbon fiber guru. It's so lightweight the box felt empty. I'm not kidding, kept tossing it to unsuspecting guys at work just to blow them away. It's like the entire thing is the weight of that brass nipple.

They both hit at the same time today after working on (and for) these deals forever. As I met Jess today from Westside Powersports (Minnetonka4me's brother 99SPXXX) over in Miss to get the 95 the Uship driver was delivering the 96 to my work.
These are only carbon fiber from the rail down. This part was $6500 to buy back then just over the counter. As we know you could get a brand new XP back then for that much. I have the catalog for the 96 and they claim 50% weight savings.
Much more to come on the specifics but I just wanted to announce their safe arrival and get the thread started. Jess was awesome that's him there on the left.
