As some of you know I have two 2005 RXPs. One RXP is for play and the other fishing. I go fishing out of JAX. Fl as far as 15 miles out for grouper and snapper. Here is a short video fishing the Mayprot jettys and some photos of my rig..

saltwater rigs

There was a guy on 2coolfishing.com that had one that he would ride offshore a goodways and fish off of. He had a company here in texas make him a gear holding system with tubing made out of aluminum. It was sweet!!

Great stuff, so glad to find someone else that actually thinks fishing from a jet ski isn't a silly idea..
What I'd really like to know is more about your fish finder and its sdetup.
Can you explain that in detail, as I am considering buying a fish finder for my 2008 RXP 215. Most likely a Garmen 300C, that sell for $399 here in Australia.

Well on my 05 RXP I needed to make an mount/rail to fit everything.

You are going to find a spot to mount the transducer..

I strongly suggest you run two batteries so not to have a dead battery on the water..
