Hi Karl, I cannot get my 1997 seadoo speedster to start. It was running fine when I parked. I charged the battery which I just bought 2 months ago. It beeps twice and then when I press the start buttons it just makes buzzing noise from the grey box with the fuses. I changed all 4 plugs and also I checked the fuses. I am at a loss of what to do?
I hope I'm doing this correctly and not breaking any rules. I assume that this message is between you and me.
Question - I found a page where there is a post by emoticonion titled "1989SP Great Puzzle " I can't read it, can you tell me why. Thanks for any help you may offer. Hartford
Hey Karl. What's new? Any upcoming events or has everyone dry docked their jet skis for the winter? I've got mine on the charger and may take a ride tomorrow. Did you still want a WSM Watercraft Parts Catalog? Our website is WWW.WSMParts.comhttp://www.wsmparts.com/wsm-pwc.html
Bought a used 2007 Sea Doo 230 and was told wrong how to flush. I turned on the water 1st, let it run for 2 min., then turned on the engine for 1 min. then turned off the engine, let the water run for another 30 seconds. Realized I'd screwed up and had the engines checked for water ingestion. The mechanic 1st looked in cylinder one on the starboard and said "yep" you got water. Then he looked in the other 2 cylinders and said "nope, I don't think you do" He said the second engine was "ok" w/no water ingestion. there is a flush kit installed & I did not pinch the hoses. Took the boat on a sea trial and he said all was fine. When we got back he checked the dipsticks for any "milky substance" which he said would indicate water in the engine.
How can I be sure there's no water in the engines & if there is a small amount, will it do damage & how long will it take. Do you know anyone local that knows how to work on these boats? I live in Englewood also. Thanks in advance, Swany!
evening Karl, gonna do that fuel line replacement ASAP, wonderin if this stuff on ebay is crap" or what your suggesting,my Stealer wants $4/ft for his stuff, and he said yeah it looks identical to the cheap stuff but it isn,t, hmm, thats $80 for 20' or $20 for 20' of this stuff, and any special hose clamps? or just small stainless pipe clamps from plumbing store, thanks
