I have a 95 Seadoo GTS with the standard fuel, low Oil Gauge. Can I upgrade to a new digital gauge and all the functions on the new gauge work or would I just be wasting my money on the new gauge?

The reason for the replacement is that my fuel gauge does not work anymore and I would like to also keep track of the hours and tach on my boat

Is there any way I could check the hours on the engine?

Thanks
Chris

If it doesnt have a dess post it doesnt log hours.

On the gauge, its most likely a broken fuel sensor than the gauge.

But to answer the question, the 2" LCD only has two extra wires one to hook to constant 12v+ for the volt light, and one to the the temp sensor for the overheat light.

My ski does have a DESS post so where should I go from here?

I have the 717 Engine...

Thanks
Chris

LOL well then your next step is to bring the machine to someone that has a programmer so they can plug in and check it.

Or...you can send the MPEM to me as I have a programmer and wiring harnesses to plug directly into the mpem.

I get $20+shipping. you can send the whole box or just the mpem. If you want a new key, a SBT key programmed and your hours verified, its $50+shipping.
