The gti quit running four or five years ago at the time the engine would crank but not fire unless i sprayed starter fluid in the carb, I finally got around to working on it this year and rebuilt the carb replaced all of those gray fuel lines replaced the battery and opened up the engine to free up one of the pistons and gave it another try and still the same thing it cranks and fires with starter fluid, my guess is the carb isnt getting any fuel but any other ideas on the problem? or if it is the fuel how do i check for fuel problems and or fix it?

It sounds as if it isn't drawing fuel. You shouldn't really use the starter fluid on these. There is no oil to lubricate the cylinders. Did you clean the carbs & fuel selector?

Post any follow up to this in the 2-stroke PWC section of the forum.

Thanks for the help! still no luck but i just posted my follow up questions in the 2-stroke pwc section
