Seadoo 3d 2004 rfi

Hi all this is my first post so forgive me for any mistakes.
I'm relatively new to seadoos have had a 3d for the last two years and have great fun with it, although last time I took it out once I connected the battery without the Dess key inserted the power came on and let out beeps as if the key was inserted.. The jetski would then start when the start button was pushed although the key was still not inserted I also noticed as a result of this the kill cord function was not working. Just wondering has anyone else experienced issues like this one and what they did

Sounds like the DESS post internal switch had failed. Tap it with a screwdriver handle and see if the issue goes away. If so, replace it. If not, then you'd need to test it to see if the switch is closed. If so, replace it.

Thanks for the reply will try that once the weather clears up a little as weather is currently crap here in Ireland
