Key issues

Just bought a 2014 wake 155 ... 1st day everything was great. . Both keys worked fine. .. Day 2 .. only learning key would reg w ski. .... normal key. .. fun key won't reg. .. Just keeps saying reading key. ..beep... reading key. ..beep.....

Any suggestions. .. supost to be riding rgt now.... But learning key just don't cut it. ... help

Clean the contacts withing the lanyard with a pencil eraser. It may have lost its program. If that is the case, the dealer or a fellow member that has a programer is your only answer..

keep key away from post, at least a couple feet. press start button, wait 3 seconds, attach key quickly and firmly.

What I do is if key is in and when u push start button and it just keep saying "reading key" I just pull it out put it in again and hit start button

I had this problem for the first year I owned the ski. It is really about how you put the key on the post - it rarely works if you try and put it straight on the terminal post. I just responded to another member on this. You need to put the key on the post in an upward motion.

1) Press the start button, then put the key on the post with the bottom part touching the post, the key slated towards you, then
2) Push the key on the post in an upward motion. You should hear a beep beep.
3) Press start.

Works every time for me. The guy who delivered by 2nd Sea Doo showed me. He said that it was the most common question of the Bombardier reps at the last meeting they had because many customers have this problem. He is with a fairly big dealer here in Muskoka, Ontario. Once he showed me, it now works perfectly. If you try and put the key on the post straight on, it rarely works, you get one beep and the ski will not start.
