RESTO 95 XP 800 resto/mod

It still needs a lot more buffing but it is getting there. What did you do with the last one you picked up [MENTION=72134]1983[/MENTION]
 
That's it right there. That's the barn one, the 2nd hull. Finally got it out of storage to snag some pics of it Sunday.

I have a ok size lake near my house which is the one I use most of the time but last time I went to west point lake and its huge which is cool but I was by myself so didn't get to explore it better haha, I really want to try lake lanier just want to have atlas 2 people total at all times, where do you ride?

I prefer to take a couple pix as it was when I found it and how it had been sitting for years.

Detail comes later when I have time.

I am on Lake Lanier. It is large and you are right, riding alone is not a good idea. If you get up that way, let me know.

96 XP800!
Keep the 2 strokes alive!
 
The seat is on my 96' xp. The front hinge point bolts were rusted/snapped off so I somewhat saved the seat cover and pulled the front staples out, removed the bolts anchor points and put in new ones and bolts. Then restapled the front of seat. Tried every cleaning and restoration method of seat but it's too far gone. I'll use it this summer but it will require recover unfortunately in the future. Has tears and scrapes along sides.

It was complete minus a couple items but previous owner did a number on the engine. Everything was in boxes when I purchased. I'm ready to sell any or all of both hulls. Two members are contemplating purchasing both hulls and I am waiting to hear back from them.

I can email more pix to anyone that wants em. Have about 70 pics total. Probably make a thread this week but HQ pics I can email for more detail.

Once I hear back from guys that have shown interest in both hulls I'll make a for sale thread. But if those guys decide not to buy then it's make an offer. I'm fair.

I live just 4 mins from West Point Lake, it is where I ride! I live in LaGrange

Lets get a group ride going soon.

Thanks. That's the plan. How do you think those 46mm Novi's will be for it I have a Westcoast head 43cc and the fpp spec 2 plan to get a 98 spx waterbox

95 xp 717 only starts if you hold wide open throttle but runs fine. As soon as you shut it off it will not start back up
