Thanks for the praise guys! Yes, my 95 did not have any spider cracks in the gel, it actually was really clean. The under side did have a bunch of fine scratches. The amount of thin ribbons of yellow gel coat would have looked like a yellow zebra with darker yellow stripes. So I chose to leave it because I know in my "perfect" mind that would have been the end of me knowing it looked like shit. Much easier for me to deal with it have what I like to call hull patina. I also know that I will beach the ski on the sand when I ride, so I would be doing work just to ruin it again. I too strive for perfection(or close to it), but you need to draw a line in the sand so to speak. The top deck of these 95's is thinner glass than a 96+ X4's. So after spending time, money and a butt load of elbow grease could literally be back into the same situation shortly after you re-gel the deck. Or you have issues putting the gel down and have to sand your arm of to get it perfect. I'm not trying to detract you from fixing it, but some times it's best to let sleeping dogs lie and maybe put a decal over them.
