1of 500 I am glad you got the ski. I almost called the guy, but then found out you were interested. You probably saved me from a lot of nights on the couch. :)

Should be a great resto when you are done.

Glad one of the members picked it up, I also kicked the idea around of picking it up

Good progress so far!

Hood painted correct?

I bid on that crank a little myself, glad I didn't drive it up too much.

I like the last guy's engine color choices. It looks like he matched the colors of the outside pretty good back then.

Adam I may take you up on that how far is he from Macon/Warner Robins area?

Jesse you just have to sneak in your new projects if its that bad, or give her some money to go shopping while you pick it up.

Ruskey it is a yellow hood that was painted yellow for some strange reason, I may try to wet sand it off they didn't even remove it from the ski before it was painted.

Total on the crank was 192.50 including 30 for shipping guy accepted offer on 2 oem pistons @ 175 for pair pins were 30

Just hit your dealer. They're like $23. I never found them on Ebay. Somewhere I have my receipt for the SKF's I bought at my local bearing warehouse.

SKF 6304 OPEN BALL BEARING rear on on the CB shaft I paid $21
LOL, I think these are actually the exact ones for the rear CB shaft! Pull your's and read the numbers on it.

SKF 6304-2RSJEM SEALED BALL BEARING front on the CB shaft I paid $23

The composite cages on the OEM bearings are rated for 14K RPM---yes 14,000 RPM. Far superior to a metal caged bearing.

Sorry I was typing and searching and all that jazz when I posted this.

Please just double and triple check some of this crap, these parts posts are moving quickly and I can make mistakes--just don't want you to get the wrong stuff, I try to post accurate info but the sellers might not be 100% on their end.. I try to document as much as I can but sometimes my brain goes out to lunch and my body doesn't. Like just measure your bearing ID's and OD's and thicknesses properly. I'm usually only dyslexic with numbers.

I will check the part numbers when they all arrive but I need to find someone to take the gear off the old crank and install on the new one may as well have them do the counter balance too.
