2005 GTX 4-Tec Troubles

Runs fine when i put it in the water but after about and hour at speed i get a check engine readout and the power cuts and i can only do 20mph max. I've heard that this might be due to a faulty O2 sensor. Is it that or somthing else?

One of the sensors is telling the mpem to go into "limp Mode". You probly have low
oil. Its running on one cylinder. You need to get it on a Buds to read the problem.
Running on LIMP is bad.

I know its not the oil level cause has I just changed the oil before going out on the water.

Ride the ski. Press the "SET" button 5 times while the gauge says "CHECK ENGINE". The gauge will give you a code (P????). SeaDoo had a problem with their oil pressure switches and came out with updated ones.
Your ski does not have 02 sensors. Report back with the code.
