well just got back to work today and had some time to read the up dates on this thread. As of right now the only time in june i cant get off is the weekend of the 24th but that could change. More than likely ill get my own place. The wife is not to sure about rooming with people shes never met. Not holding anything against you guys lol but happy wife happy life...

I've talked to a few ppl via text and also confirmed a place that's got rooms available for the labor day weekend. It's around $150/night.

One option for future rides that shouldn't be overlooked is Orange Beach Alabama. We did a family reunion there and it was fantastic, Open water and back water there and not a bad spot for the SE.

I work till 12 on that Saturday but off Sunday and monday...so let me know what your thinking. Sometimes we get out at 12 on that saturday

agree, its either full salt or half salt up there. I just remember the 4 days I spent there all I wanted to do was drive home and get my ski, I didn't bring it because we had 25 people in the group, which means my poor ski would have been beat to death for days on end. Not one single person (besides me) wanted to commit to renting a ski, so we settled on renting a boat for the day and split it between 4 of us, it was just fine, the rest of the time we just drank and drank and drank....
