can someone plz tell me if my steering linkage is repairable or is it broken.i noticed it yesterday as i was changing chin pad that steering was harder then normal so i looked around and found that at the back of the ski next to jet pump that the small guide arm had come out of the plastic nut and was moving along with the cable instead of being stationary

You haven't got a lot to lose here, if it were my ski, I would put JB weld on the threads and screw it back in, you might want to put a small hose clamp around the coller, probably not a permanent fix but it will buy you time.

i figured out what went wrong the plastic nut i actually took that out myself sorry bout that, well what happened is the little metal arm there thats under the plastic nut came out of the steering cable. some how its pressed in there well mine cracked on the end causing it to come out.i pulled the whole thing out and pushed it back in but it only cracked more but in other spots im sure itll stay in if i weld the cracks and crimp it tighter.i have a hull laying around im gna check and see if theres another cable in it and just change it out better safe then sorry id hate to be stuck out on the lake not bein able to steer
