Single Beep while riding

We will be riding on our 2009 GTI-SE and suddenly hear a single squeeching beep. All gauges, etc. show no problems and it is full of oil with nothing showing on the digital readout. Should I take this in to service and if so, what?

Thanks for the reply but when this started the tank was full and it is now just below 3/4 tank and it still does it. If we are out for a 30 minute ride, it might beep twice during the ride. Everything appears to be OK on the gauges and it runs great....

A single beep also happens if you suck air into the impeller and the engine RPMs take off a bit.

I found it also has happened if I am screwing around doing tight turns as well.
