2009 GTX 215 - Single Long Beep While Riding

While riding at higher speeds ( 40-50) I get a long single beep. When looking at dash, the only thing I can see different is that the water temp is no longer reading anything. Speedometer still function and it appears to run just fine.

Stop, shutdown and restart, and everything is normal. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this?

long 60 mile plus ride yesterday and same thing happened a few times, initially during high speed run 55+ plus, then multiple times there after during low speeds. Could a loose DESS key on the post cause these symptoms due to vibrations?
