Im going to redo my fading and ripped 1997 speedster interior over the winter and get it from seadooupholstery.com... I was gonna keep the yellow and doing the normally grey/silver parts in black, but my mother is all worried about it getting hot. If anybody has done similar to theirs how is it? I know it'll be hotter than the grey after sitting in the sun, but how bad could it be? especially if its half yellow and half black unlike say a leather convertible car interior that's been sitting in the sun...
Thanks!

Black vinyl will get CRAZY hot. I would recommend to say away from it. The dark blue on my Islandia gets toasty. AND... in my old Sportster... I changed to gray and white to keep things comfortable.

I've not had a boat with a black interior, but I once owned a 64 Corvair Monza Convertible, it had a black vinyl interior and in the summer we had to fold the seats forward to keep from burning our legs. I certainly wouldn't recommend a black interior for a boat.
