opinions on the gti 130?

Hi.

Family is looking into buying an 08 seadoo gti 130. 70 hours with trailer for 6.4k. good buy?
whats the overall impressions on this seadoo? Ive heard from some people that as far as seadoo standards are concerned its somewhat slow?

It's a nice ski... but it's too expensive for what it is. 70 Hrs isn't very low for an '08, and the GTI is only $8k new. About $4500 is the right price for that ski.

I just bought 2 08 GTI SE models. One is a 130 and one is the 155. The 155 I have hit 60 once and they 130 will stay right around 55-57. Definitely not the fastest that they make by any means but still a lot of fun of drive. I got both of my skis with a double trailer for $10,500.. Also like the fact that you don't have to worry about the SC going bad and replacing them every 100 hrs.. just my 2 cents though.

Remember that D3v is in Canada....prices are higher??????

but still I think it's bit too high. offer $4 to 5K and see he bites the hook.

Yeah prices are indeed cheaper in the u.s. Ive looked up n down. 6K for a gti seems "average".

I was trying to give a one word opinion but I couldn't decide between slow and underpowered. lol

I suggest riding a few models before buying. Some people don't mind the slower speeds and much slower acceleration.

Yup .. not everybody wants to be wot all the time at 65mph. I think the gti is a great ski, I just sold mine to my womans uncle. He really likes the 3 seats and I wouldn't say their slow, not the fastest ski on the lake. But she feels as planted as a prairie oak in rough water and trust me the women like this. I sold mine 06' with a Shore Station ski lift and trailer for $7500.00 (family prices) it has 49 hrs on it.

Update. Also found an 07 gti for 5k. much better. Is it just me or does the 08 gti look somewhat bigger than the 07 model?

Looking at the specs at personalwatercraft.com they have the exact same dimensions. Are the hours on the 07 more than the 08?

60 hours on the 07. A bargain as far as Canadian prices go.

I was just about to say.. If the condition on the 07 is good, that sounds like your best bet.
