New to Forum, looking forward to 1st time boating..

Hi all, just purchased a 2000 Callenger 2000. 1 cylinder with low compression, I would love to attept to do an overhaul, pistons/cylinders...or perhaps may only need to re-ring? But got the boat for a great price, and am looking forward with the kids to enjoy this boat. Looking forward to the knowledge that I will hopefully gain from this forum. regards, Johnny O

Hi and welcome, do you know if your challenger has the rotax engines? Or does it have the merc? I'm trying to remember when Bombardier made the switch on the challenger. This will help us to point you in the right direction of getting parts and also helping you out with tips.

I believe it has the Mercury engine. Our 2001 Challenger 2000 has the 240hp EFI.
