Well it looks like this is gonna be a good one and a big one! Members have gotten together over a weekend a couple times over the years previously and it's time to do it again. We have chosen the weekend before the Memorial day weekend, May 20-21. Many folks have booked rooms at the Landing on Lake Norman http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...e.com/&usg=AFQjCNFDUoT_O4aVfUIxRneFh8U5uzxp7w but it is filling up quickly so we will likely have to get together and rent a house or two as well.

Everybody is invited but it is mostly a gathering of two-stroke Seadoos. It's a long drive for me but I wanted to get it far enough up north that our northern members could attend. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and seeing the others again. Many of us have been repairing, modifying, and customizing skis with this upcoming event in mind. It's sure to be a super time and I encourage all of you to come and ride.

We will probably set up a buoy course but it's just for fun. Mostly we will just get a chance to try out each others skis, not bumping hulls and shins and whatnot. The rest of the time we gas up and take big rides together around the lake. Everybody I've met is super nice and laid back so we will be trying to get groups together at night to drink beers and tell stories and such. I'm here to help and answer any questions I can at (850)259-1581

Here is the latest on who is going to be there and when..... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13N6yjw4EB8nJFGEdgrGHgRZ57lkNqakTMRwMuEZnTS4/edit?usp=sharing

Tonka and 99spxxx. Yes most of us are 2 stroke junkies at heart but we arent discriminating on 4 strokes either.

Bring the 4 strokes to the ride. We have plenty of 2 strokes to tow you in. (Jab from our last ride lol)

Haha. I'm a little worried about being blown away by about 6 X4's that I've supplied parts to. I'm pretty sure this will be the largest get together of modified Seadoos that's not a race anywhere ever. I can't wait to be in the middle of the pack seeing all the smiles.

Subscribed and looking forward to it!

I want to try and get my four stroke buddy to come, I am sure he would have a blast too.

Who is on house hunting duty?

Please tell me the carbon X4 is coming

LOL Please tell me you got the Zebra ski's pump sorted out so we can experence what it can really do! I will do my best to bring the Grabowski ski, might bring a 4 place full.

I have not messed with my own Seadoos for quite a while but I will before this ride. I would like to have two different skis ready that were not at the last ride but we will have to see how far I get. I'm ready to help members get their stuff tuned up over the next couple months. 3/4 of the aftermarket 787 parts that have come up for sale in the last three years will be at this ride lol.

Yes I sealed up the pump on the zebra ski. Then I proceeded to tear all the go fast parts off it and ship them to a special member here. So we will get to see how fast it is, just on a another ski that's yet to be revealed haha. I don't want to say more I'll let everybody reveal their builds when they are ready.

That leaves me with the BRR carbon GSX and the HX if I had to leave tomorrow but I'm gonna work on the XPL and the carbon X4's and see how far I get. I'm bringing the wife and she likes the RXX so that's another possibility.

Yes I'd like to take enough time off work to not be rushed.

We need to nail a good house down at this point. I don't mind using my credit card to reserve one. It would be great to have a beach and a launch near by and be on the same part of the lake as the Landing.

Cant wait to see what you two bring!!!! I hope big red makes it again. I loved that ski.

I'll probably do Thursday to Sunday. Still holding out on a pimp pad!

Sound perfect to me!

You guys suck. 5,000 miles is too far to tow the skis.
Although you will have water unlike us here in California...... No, its still to far.

Find us a pad!

I was looking on VRBO over the weekend and the best looking place is the one MPower posted https://www.vrbo.com/726649 . It had the huge beach and hot tub. It was pricey but I think we could come up with the money if they will let us rent thur-sun. The weekend we want is the only weekend available still but it says 7 days minimum.

Decent - has hot tub and a very small beach. The dock looks like its a good setup to tie a few skis to https://www.vrbo.com/4118519ha

Looks like a fun house but $$$ and no good ski parking. Bar looks awesome tho!! https://www.vrbo.com/172342

Not my favorite but theres two rental houses next to each other https://www.vrbo.com/354402ha

Nice house but no jetski parking - https://www.vrbo.com/338354

Good price and has a boat ramp - https://www.vrbo.com/471698

Not bad - https://www.vrbo.com/598068

All look awesome! Really concentrate on logistics....how many areas where a guy can toss up an air mattress and get some privacy. Offices, closets, etc.

Parking is a major thing. Do not hide that we are jetskiers. Make sure they are OK with noise, trailers in the yard, that sort of deal.

Being close to the resort is huge now that people have booked there.

Thank you for doing the footwork on this!

I like the last one "What a View" it's right on the water and has a nice sized dock. I cant tell where these homes are in relation to the Landing though. We NEED a boat ramp close by also.
