IAT Clip broken?

I just purchased a 2011 Seadoo GTI SE which was throwing Code P0113. When I checked the IAT clip it wasn't connected. I can push it on and hold and the code clears. The clip won't stay on, there appears to be something missing. Is it supposed to have a metal spring clip thing around it or something? The plastic clip doesn't appear to be cracked.

I think I found my answer. There is a missing metal piece that works as the lock. I'm missing it. I will see if its under the engine.
