Another example of you drifting from your purist ways................a silver nozzle. Nicely done, it looks awesome.

Another day.....another surprise from racer. Keep up the good work. I cant help but wonder, are you building this for a driver or to take across the country to seadoo shows and win best in class trophies?

BTW how does the soup taste with the powder coat cooking underneath:cheers:.

Thanks Kick, it is a sickness I have, no matter what I do to me it's never good enough. I love a challenge. I also love to ride something that looks new but is old. Don't worry I'll try and get back to my purist ways with my next project. Soup is good no matter what's in the oven. We're on that food rant again, getting late in the night.

To Tim....just buy out the whole bag of those billet selectors from douchebag John....Ill buy a dozen from you.

Racer...If you want black trim parts just let me know. I have a full set of black trim including the corners, black seat trim with yellow pads, the cover for under the seat, any color gas cap they made.

Giving a big shout out to Minnetonka4me for some killer yellow filler strip for the HX bump rail. Thanks Tonka for setting it off, great price and fast shipping. More pics to come once I finish the trim up. And I can't forget Jetskigoodies for the paint tip on the black trim, the purple is almost gone.

Thats looking real good, doesnt it suck having 2 projects going at once? When you get something for one project in you stop work on the other project because your excited to get the other parts on.

Looking good...how bout all the free decals? ;)

I would have sent more...waiting on more westside ones that should be here this week.

Sorry Minnetonka4me, I totally missed this post. Yeah that was a nice load of stickers for sure, and a NICE mag too. I just need to find a subtle way of placing the stickers, I think the Yukon is gonna get a big 'uns on the back glass.

Got the Jetskigoodies bar cover/pad update done on the HX. Looks so darn good and flows real nice with the HX hood pod.

Doesnt get much better than that, bye bye gooey pad. Now I just need to convince you to pull that hx decal and have you cut your own hx decal in that carbon fiber. I know you will leave it though. You try to get me to leave the decals and I try to get you to lose them lol. We are both fighting a losing battle.

For those who don't know how sick I am in the head, here is a glimps into my warped mind. I hand stenciled the graphics on the HX. I got what I consider the "important" parts that I might want to recreate out of hand cut carbon fiber, sick--YES. :D

Damn that handlebar pad looks good. I wish I found this thread before I tried cleaning my handlebar pad with warm water and soap. It just disintegrated in my hands when i took it off the handlebar and felt like melted crayons.

great build.. any updates??

i swear the more and more i read the crazy builds going on here the more and more i want to find a project ski like this..

Here you go Dipps, on the trailer and real close to getting wet. I was waiting on some parts to be made and they are just not working out like I wanted so I need to refine them. I really want them to work out because it will really set the ski off. So, I wrapped the seat in the carbon fiber gray and I wanted the purple seat frame covers covered in carbon fiber yellow. I worked with my mom and dad to come up with a way to do it. The first pic is the cover but I need to put some foam behind the vinyl to give it some support and "hold" it's shape. I did all the cutting and stuff and my mom did the stitching and pops and I brainstormed on ideas and he also helped her feed the material in the sewing machine. So, like I said, I need to refine those, but for now I'm just running the polished seat frame(which still looks way cool). I just got my reg stickers from Doc, done in what I refer to as the JSG Font ( Jetskigoodies ), they look awesome on there if I say so myself. I wrapped the rear hatch in carbon fiber, put a GT manufacturing finger throttle on it and am waiting for a set of BRP new style grips to com in in earth gray. I think it turned out pretty good and can't wait to ride it. I'll post some better pics when the sun pops out.

^ How did you sneak in that finger pull?

Is that a mod from stock?
Remember JSG has it on the SPX.

LOL, you didn't even notice your multi-function gauge in the gauge pod, right next to my old VTS gauge(neither hooked up, yet). They are my block off covers since I only had one purple one.

The finger pull was a very late night ebay score about a month back. I stole it on a buy it now. And honestly it feels so much better that the thumb throttle that was on it. With my size the thumb kinda felt awkward. JSG's was a stock thumb that was flipped.

hahahehe.
Lets hope it works...........

For sure!

Looks awesome, you did a way better job fixing up your hx than the one I did. Oh yeah I do not have finger throttles on anything(yet). The 99 spx We bought had the throttle flipped around but that is a ghetto trigger lol.
