Thanks, racer. I've owned both of the cars since new and I really like them. Too bad a big branch fell on the 1991 Mustang GT (5-sp) back in early June when a tornado ripped through our neighborhood. Blew out the windshield and dented the hood and driver's side fender  . Nobody hurt so that's the important thing! It's got a new windshield but the dents are still there.

I ordered the 2002 Ram Air Trans Am (6-sp.) It's a blast to drive but it still doesn't even have 30K miles on it. It was in the garage so it didn't suffer any tornado damage.

Darn right I want that guys cover. It's the OEM vacu-fit made by commercial sewing who sponsored the race X4's I've copied with my black and white striped ski. Plus you just can't beat the quality and fit. I would rather pay him $200 for a used original that $120 for that new one. Unfortunately I don't have a choice. There are two old bed sheets covering it up right now. The second cover looks just like the Poppy brand and I think they sell those through this site.

A couple months ago I watched a new OEM RXX cover pass through. I didn't pull the trigger just because I wanted to own an RXX someday but now I wish I would have. It bothers me slightly that someone is probably out there covering up some normal RX with the rare cover I desire. Whats gonna happen is I buy the new Poppy then my OEM comes up....never fails.

If I'm not mistaken---the Poppy covers are manufactured by Commercial sewing. But I do understand the rarity of the cover. Buy a new one then score the real deal for just storage--not trailering.

I just went thru getting a used OEM cover for my XP from CReynolds here on the forum, just for the fact that I wanted a "period correct" cover to match my HX, so I understand where your at. I just gave them the Racerxxx detailing. I look all the time for an OEM all yellow cover for my Speedster, but I know that ain't happening. Feel your pain.

Oh that's pure candy down there.

I need an 1800 now. I didn't realize how much I like the shape and layout. Just kidding(kinda) but that is real nice

That a Speedster--how dare you compare that to a Challenger. LOL. But honestly the Speedster has the best seat config IMHO, I never liked the three seat bench for the rear passengers of the Challengers and the other boats that used that bench. I'm a bucket seat kinda guy. I just wish they didn't weather like they did(no cracks or splits just discolored), the red seats held up better than the yellow, but yellow is my favorite color.

...WE LOVE IT!!!

That brings me to the issue of thanking OCOD. This guy, I mean this guy...I mean they just don't make them like this very often. He ran all over everywhere to make this deal happen for me(just like he did for that Hydro-Trailer as some of you may remember). He always had his mind on helping via looking for the best routes and saving money on the Hotel room, etc. Oscar I can't thank you enough. BTW guys did you know it's Doc Oscar? Maybe I'm just a little slow but I was surprised and impressed that this Cool, super helpful pwc enthusiast was putting this together between running around fixing everybody's eyes up.

Thank you also to everyone willing to lend a hand or put us up but I had to keep it moving to make it work. Now I need to get to work.

In the first pic, I assume that Oscar is the one in the brown UPS sweats LOL :)

racerxxx awesome thanks for the heads up.

Why is the seller saying the title must be transferred?

The dog is worth that much :)

I would never EVER let a title or registered item that was in my name leave my property before it was put in the new owners name.

My fathers friend sold a car to a couple of nice guys years and years ago and let them go on the premise that they were going to transfer the title tomorrow. Guess who was in a two car wreck that night? The nice guys. Guess who ran from the scene? The nice guys. Guess who was on the hook for the bill? My fathers friend. Thankfully he hadn't removed his insurance from the vehicle.

That is why you MUST transfer the title or registration. Don't trust the nice guy! Imagine if someone died in the crash, you now need to prove where you were to keep your behind out of the klink.

It's still your's until they transfer it.

In Michigan when selling a titled vehicle, you sign the title and give it to the new owner , I believe the new owner signs it as well. That proves you sold it (of course keeping a copy of the bill of sale helps too). Then he must register it and receives a new title with his name on it. You have 3 days to do that. The only driving that can be done with a used car is coming home from the sellers or to the SOS office to get it titled again.

Now, what if he has an accident or commits a crime with it before he retitles it?.....i don't know.

racer was right tho, you SHOULD make sure they sign it right there, but as far as driving to the tag office with them, i never have.

i've had 2 buyer's that wouldn't sign my title but did sign a bill of sale, stating that it was going in brother's name, wife's name, etc,
and on those two occasions i was just happy to get paid so i let it go, everybody else signs the title in front of me, i have two bills
of sale and I keep one, (can't read half the signatures anyway) i'm always sure they get transferred on my next birthday because i'll either get or not get a registration renewal... actually I just renewed my car's and ski's recently, and my old 96 was still registered ie: titled in my name and I gave the tax office the guy's name and number, since i had it in my phone, stating that it was sold.
but it had only been 2 months maybe he was just riding out the current registration tags.
never done it myself <wink wink. but i've been told some guys just sell with an Open title, meaning it is just signed by the last seller, the guy fixes it up, and re-sells it to the next guy w/o putting it in his name. Actually its done quite often, at least 4 or 5 of my purchases have been open titles being sold by guy #2, with a title that has guy #1's signature. I think they buy them for like $200 and then do a quick flip and re-sell to guys like me for $450.
