Friday August 15th & Saturday August 16th, 9am -- 4pm
59389 CR 657, Mattawan 49071
ABSOLUTELY NO PRE-SALES!
This is a friend's home. Please do not stalk or disturb the residents or they will never let me have another sale here! (This means you man in the creepy truck who showed up the night before and did not want to leave!)
Now I'm remarried and upgraded in more ways than one!The new hubby and I have combined houses, and it's time to sell the duplicates.
Housewares, dishes, glasses, curtains, bedspreads, pillows, luggage, picture frames, decorations and more. I had to add a woman's touch to the bachelor pad.
TONS of women's clothing (Pretty much anything left over the ex-husband purchased for me. Another upgrade with the new hubby having much better taste!). BCBG, Abercrombie, GAP, Banana Republic, The Limited, The North Face, and more. Purses too! Coach, Vera Bradly, and Michael Kors to name a few. Now that new hubby has purchased the cow, the milk is going to become exceedingly expensive!
Men's clothing! I mean the new hubby does not need all his old bar clothing to stay home with me! And to be honest, some of those t shirts had to go!
Work out equipment (I can afford to let myself go now that I'm hitched).
Three person Sea-Doo Jet Ski & 2 place trailer. Another leftover from the ex. I was awarded the thing in the divorce, he used it to pick up woman other than me. He had it looking rough, just like the marriage, but the new hubby has fixed it (and me) up & polished it like new. Ready to hit the lakes. Runs fine, but we would prefer a boat and a little less history instead ($2,800).
Of course TONS of wedding décor -- Up lighting set, table runners, candles, signage, and other decorations.
I'm calling in friends to bring their goods to the sale as well. Who knows what you may find. I'm anticipating anything from Men's name brand clothing to tools, pet items, books, electronics and children's toys. Lots of craft supplies as well including fabric/quilting material.
We mean business this time and will be accepting Visa, Master Card, Discover, and AMX cards (3% credit card fee will be added -- minimum credit card purchase $5).
Frequently Asked Questions:
1) The garage is not for sale. You cannot remove it "Peace by peace" (spelling as submitted)
2) I do not have any championship wrestling belts for sale nor can I ship any to Florida for you. Although, if you really want a piece of this historic sale I could arrange a mystery box of leftovers shipped to you (Fees apply).
3) While it is nice to get emails letting me know that I am your hero please do not email me telling me I am your hero AND you will be burning all of your ex-husbands belongs due to my inspiration. I would like to be able to sleep at night.
Yes, these are actual email questions and comments I received prior to the last sale. We are just trying to create a fun and memorable garage sale ad In short, Ex-husband bashing drama sells. Some of it is a little embellished and some of it if completely true.
You helped make the great garage sale of '13 such a success we're back for more deals and steals! Last time, we made the newspaper, TV, and viral on the internet reaching news outlets from New England to California. They came as far as North Carolina for deals, and word of the sale also spread internationally from England to a knitting forum in New Zealand!
In the end, just remember garage sales are like some relationships. From a distance it looks like it could be interesting but up close it's just a bunch of sh*t you don't really need.
Looks like one of these;
