I have a 1996 Seadoo GTX 787. I opened the mag cover today and found a broken trigger coil (wire broke at solder location), and broken trigger coil bracket. There is also a lot of oil inside the magneto housing. I also found several lose metal pieces, including small pieces of spring, and magnetic metal chunks. I have no idea if these pieces are all from the trigger coil bracket. The link has pics from the mag housing.

I am thinking that I need a new trigger coil and bracket, and possibly an oil seal and gasket that goes between the magneto housing and engine.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Any oil in the housing means blown seal from what I have read. Used parts for mag etc will save you money.
