If you look at the historical gas prices, it was acutally higher than it's ever been in July of 08... not that I'm saying what happened is good IMHO. I'm very afraid this is going to continue.... I'm thinking we need a change.... Just don't see anyone on the ballot that I like. Is there a none of the above, do-over place to check??? How about SDB for President?

July 4 th weekend in 2008 I paid $5.50 a gallon on the water, it was a $1 more per gallon at the marina but at 2 pm when your out of gas in the machine and can it beats loading up and trying to find a parking spot when you get back from the gas station. I hope we don't see that again. That was an expensive weekend with a couple seadoos and a boat

Last summer we figured each outing with our machines would cost at least $100.00 in fuel and that didn't include gasing up the pontoon boat. Always tried to avoid buying fuel on the water, carry a five gallon safety can on the pontoon in case someone runs out. I am not looking forward to the prices this year, doesn't look real good at this point, $3.97 for regular right now.

that fkin socialist and his cronies got to go before we are all bankrupt. they don't understad that whwn the govt has to subsidize something because it isn't economical in the free market it isn't going to work they want to make gas so expensive that they can say alternatives are now cheaper

My new campaign promise:

A Seadoo in every garage and a Red snapper in every pot.

I promise to low ball the oil sheiks with a $40 price tag on every barrel of oil. Sell it at that price or be overwhelmed in your own oil. We start drilling for oil on our own land and see what develops. :nopity:
Get those inventors to improve the "water powered" engines for car/trucks. etc, etc, etc.

Vote for me President SDB....

Thanks you

SDB for PRESIDENT!!! Charge the Arabs $150 for a bushel of corn. See how they like that!

I had some Red Snapper once... well a few times. She was quite a hand full!

Hey this is post # 2500 for me :hurray: :hurray: 23 of them have even been rated as being useful. That is almost a full 1% !

of course the other 99% are nonsense like this... :willy_nilly:

Congrats, Jake!

How do you rate posts as helpful?

Is a red snapper anything like a green Deere? Or if it's green, should I just stay away from it? :leaving:

Jake, to you too. What local beer do you drink. Rolling from Latrobe, Iron city??????

Islamic terrorists are like Alaskan king salmon. Life is good until the SEALS show up.

I also like your new signature :)

Sink - If the snapper is green i would stay away! ! ! ! ! !

On Technical threads there is a button to rae the post as helpful. It is not there for off topic threads.

Many deer in PA are Irish and dye their fur green on St Patrick's day. Otherwise, I'd approach with caution.

Rolling Rock was one of my favorite beers but the Rolling Rock brewery and/or brand was sold a couple years ago ( I forget exactly what happened). I'm not sure it is brewed in Latrobe anymore. It's not bad but tastes slightly different. I have never been a fan of Iron City beer. Mostly i go with MGD.

RR was bought by AB (Budweiser) from Labatt USA. (Labatt now serviced by North America Breweries). I thought the brewery closed but not sure. Bud now ABInbev raised the price and changed the formula a bit.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.

Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
