Oh and I think you should go a hair lighter on the grey for the seat too. IMO seadoo went too dark on the seat, if they would have went lighter grey to match the graphics better or even a black would have looked better.

Very good point. I'm assuming you also weren't assembling it in the dark with only flashlights lol

good times for sure. Looking forward to this summer.

Today we started to strip the 99 spx. My phone battery was low and would not let me take pictures but I did bring some parts home so here is the absolute worst vts motor I have ever seen. I feel bad for you salt water guys.

There was alot more corrosion, when we took it off a whole bunch fell into the hull and while it was slamming around in the bed of my truck alot fell out.

Now it might not have been as bad if he would have replaced the boot, but instead here was his fix. There is a place for window caulk but a vts is not that place lol

Well after the worst thing I have ever seen, here is one of the best items I have seen. This mpem is mint, we could not have been happier.

Glad to see it getting restored WITH graphics. I was looking through the pix and was like...oh man theres a chitty decal, they are all coming off.

Now dont sell your self short on this one...You need to be getting paid $60/hr for your labor. Your work is way too good for what you "sold" the 98 for.

Graphics are staying this time. You can thank racer for that, he found this

Now I would like to find a bottom decal because one is a little marked up.
Nick we havent sold the 98 yet, I am waiting to stencil on the handle bar pad and for some fuel line to come in.

This one we planned on $2800.

Started to powerwash the hull. When you have hot water hooked up to your powerwasher and it is 30 degrees outside you get this

I see you have the weak stainless bailer strap on the battery side. Be careful with those decals, I keep looking for more everyday.

mmmmmmm, Hot Water.....I believe my pressure washer (Home Depot) instructions says to use only cold water from the tap.
but sounds like a great idea for special cleaning needs.

Ready for more snow today Matt?

I know I know, after looking at all of them closer, they all have scratches and are fading. We may 86 them. I think putting one new one on and having the old damaged ones may look weird.

Most of them look like this

We have ran hot water through this many times. By old boss owns a car wash and has owned a couple in the past too. Forestors car wash, the one on john r and 14 next to best buy, and a bunch of others. They run hot water through theirs all the time. They have to or things freeze up.

I put a setup in my basement where I can control the temp of the water to my hose on the side of the house. best thing ever for cold water washing the cars. I have it set to warm, not hot, but it's nice :)

I bet if i did full hot and pressurewasher, it would really get stuff clean.

What do you have? The hot water line connected to the cold but with valve so you can control the flow of the Hot water.....Sounds nice.
Take a pic if something unique.

normally, almost always,i'm totally into taking off stock decals and replacing them with anything except rainbows and kittens, however, there is one exception to the rule, and thats the 99 spx.,, the 99 decals rock in any condition above 7 out of 10. those are fine, keep them, they are what makes that ski a 99, and not just another 96.

This is the first one I have seen in person and the purple kind of has me a little bummed out, I know it is just a little purple but, the purple, the scratches, and the fading all have my index finger twitching to use the heat gun on them.

Thats what i will be asking with out the cover or vests. That price is normal for the 99, the 96xp is a dime a dozen, the 99 is rare, I see more 95 xp800's
