Have Mike change the xp 800 on the graphics to xp 951

Oh and I like the umi start stop throttle combo better than the other style it uses the lever off the old thumb throttle

A fellow forum member made the trek from out of state and purchased both of them earlier this year. He is restoring them.

Having a weird issue at idle battery light is out. When you give it throttle it either blinks or stays lit. Never had this happen before think the stator is going out?

Mine has/had that issue for a year now. Checked the charging system and it checked out, so I just said screw it and kept riding. I'll eventually dig into it, but it'd likely just come down to me throwing parts at it. Which can get pricey quick.

Yes everything seems fine. I haven't charged the battery since I bought it just didn't want to have it die riding solo especially this time of year.

I've only had the light come on while cranking. Have you tested the charging system? It's obviously charging if you haven't had to charge the batt yet and it hasn't died

Not yet it just happened for the first time. I did check the connections. Decided to just pull it out and look at it later. Not much boat traffic today and the water is cool.

95 xp 717 only starts if you hold wide open throttle but runs fine. As soon as you shut it off it will not start back up
