No the adjustment nuts came loose the linkage actually came apart. I'm heavy handed so I was trying not to break it tightening the nuts after I synchronized the carbs.

damn that's some cashola. do you have any pics of the ski?
I'm going back with the twins. Upgrading the carbs to Novi's having the mpem reflash to one timing curve to do away with the tps. All of this should help with the reliability

I'll ask him when I send these 46mm carbs for the xp800. I need to start getting the parts for the rebuild of the 951 and locate some 46mm Novi's for the rxx. I just want to get rid of the mid range lean spot that the sbni series hasi had him reflash my mpem for my coffman and the first thing he asked me was, "is it a single coil mpem?". All thats really required is switching the mag-cup to a 787 style and modifying the electrical box with a single coil like a 98 xpl style. If you want i can show you pics of what my "dual coil" box looks like since its been modified with the single coil.
In my x4 951 conversion im using the stock electrical box that came out of my old 97 gsx that i restored and sold which obviously had an 800 motor. That mpem has had its rev limiter increased and the correction factor for ignition change to a Code:1 i believe. But in any event the reflashed mpems i see are typically of the single coil variety, and they came in a 2 plug and 3 plug variety as well. No pesty tps sensor required any longer.
