2001 challenger lanyard needed

Hi folks, I just bought a 2001 Sea Doo Challenger 1800 yesterday and it only needs one thing. The lanyard switch cap. I have looked around on ebay and Amazon but they just say Sea Doo I have not seen anything specific about the Challenger or year. Could someone help me out on this one with a Part number and such....thanks MATT

Just a thought for you. I bought one of the generic ones from West Marine. After a couple of days it kept falling off. Had to put a small piece of cloth inside the capsule to make the fit tighter. No problems since.

Well,..that was the wrong one so that was a waste of money and time.

Well,..that was the wrong one so that was a waste of money and time.

Then a previous owner changed it. The rubber "Cap" on that lanyard will fit the OEM kill switch perfectly. I've used that same one on my boat for 3 years... and I've used it on old (95 and earlyier) seadoo watercraft.

So... if it's doesn't work... post a picture of what you have in your boat.
