Was wondering if your still around on the forum... I've got a 2000 millenium gtx - rfi motor that locks up with oil in the cylinder. It does fine when run more often that every week. It was a recent rebuild and ran great the first year... after sitting i tried to start it, it was froze... got a new battery, same thing. i pulled the plugs and the cylinder(s) was full of oil... got it dried out and BOOM ran like a champ! Then sat 3-4 days and again froze up. (hydrolocked with oil). A shop told me the theres a seal between the crank that is leaking by... and fills the cylinder. My guy (the guy i bought it from) says the its the oil pump assembly.
What say you? Its a $500 bill for the shop to replace the seal. Thanks in advance for your time. i know its lengthy. Cheers - seadogg
