1995 XP800 Restoration(Finally)

I was lucky enough to meet up with a great group of guys this weekend to do some riding. We met at Highland Marina Resort in Lagrange GA. Nick(Minnetonka4me) was making the drive down and happened to have a nice 95 XP800 with an oem rebuilt 787X! We worked a deal on the ski and I finally arrived home with it today. This will be my winter restoration thread. I am going 100% oem on this one and want to return it to the way it was in 1995. I welcome any and all advice as this is my first full blown resto. After wanting and searching for the right one for a long time, here it is:

I am starting on the hull tonight. The pictures look a little deceiving in that light. There is some decent fade on the bottom of the hull and the pink areas. I will be starting with the bilge cleaning it to look new and then I will be starting the wet sand/compound on the hull. I am going to attempt to save the decals, but no guarantees on that. Pics to follow

Cant believe that engine ever died on the previous owner before....I mean, its running double oil filters. Only the purest of the pure oil for that X engine I guess...
