as the winter approaches so does the desire to thinker, "fine tune" and just have a perfect running ski for next season. well that's all fine and dandy but lets keep in mind that...

1. 50% of maintenance is caused by 50% of maintenance.
2. if its not broken don't F$@# with it.
3. and the all important KISS

oh i just killed the engine jumping waves from hurricane irene while singing i beleive i can fly, i believe i can touch the sky...

true story:lol:

nope... I never have the "Want" to tinker with my skis. They are parked, and won't be touched until the spring. (With the exception of charging the batteries once a month)

at first I read that as "changing" the batteries... that's a lot of batteries :)

I have to put on a clip that holds the hood strut on my XP, and a new strut on my GTX (will wait till spring).

and finally a new cover on the XP handlebars... then both get covered and tucked in the corner with the trailer up on jacks. I might put new lights on the trailer as the one is broke (just the cover, not the light)... stupid, stupid design. I want something big and metal on the trailer to go out over the light housing to protect it.

flat spots on my tires... I would hope my garage never floods, it's on top of quite a large hill...

See, here in PA, we have this thing called 'winter'... its when all of my life sucks, and I mope 24/7 for the next 6 months... but at least I save some $ on gas...
