Which Oil Seadoo GTI SE 155 2007?

Hi

I see this question a lot but i never see an answer.

I need to figure out which oil i have to put in my Seadoo GTI SE 155 from 2007.
No need for any other advises regarding changing oil etc etc. i just need to be sure i put the right stuff in the engine..

Thomas, if you have your owner's manual, the specifiction is in there.

I have two '02 155 4-tecs, and my manual says "4-stroke engine oil, 10W-40, API SG, SH, or SJ." The "liquids" section add the words high-quality and high-detergent.

Any good quality synthetic or non synthetic 10W40 motor oil that has the correct API rating will work.

Since you have the oil change frequency and specific weight parameters fully under control, perhaps a review of API classifications will add to this thread.

Yep, it costs a bit more and there may be cheaper alternatives that will work, but why take a chance? It's the right stuff!
If you're absolutely stuck, you can use SAE 5W40 API service SM motor oil.
