i'm a new rider(42). i'm in sonoma county and my new wetsuit arrives next week. any local winter hot spots i should check out?

the launch on the marina side is on the gravel, looks like i have to hike up the hill at the other launch, not easy to do after knee surgery. i'm ready to go for it anyways. how could i pass this up?
