Starting issues with 2009 GTX Ltd

I have had my GTX trouble free since I got it until now. I went out for the start of the season to get it ready and when I went to start it, the starter would not stop running. I have already checked out and replaced the solenoid and did some wiring checks and have no positive results. The other interesting thing is if I press the start/stop button w/o the key, the starter with turn until I d/c the battery. I'm starting to think maybe a bad ECU. Any ideas would be great. Thanx.

Could be a stuck switch as well.

Pretty easy to test with a DVOM.

I'm not very good at electrical issues but this seems like a bad switch.

The start/stop switch is working fine. And I don't think it would be able to crank w/o the key in if it was a bad switch.

I agree with the theory about if the key wasn't on the switch should have no affect. The only way would be if both the post and the switch are defective.
