I was thinking about this.

wich is the fastest boat between:

a 16' speedster with twin 110HP
a 14.5 Speedster/sportster with twin 85HP
a 15' speedster 4tec 215HP ?
a 16' speedster with 240HP M2 merc.

Wich one got the best hole shot and best top speed?

I did achieve 58MPH with my speedster twin 110, but i can't get that damn 60MPH mark... but 58 is still quite fast.

GPS or Speedo?

Just curious if the 58 MPH is measured by the boats Speedometer or GSP? I have the same boat as you, 59/60 MPH on my Speedo translated to 53 on the GPS. That was with stock/ very slightly damaged impellers. I switched to scat track swirls over the winter and now I am seeing 51 on the GPS.

it was not on GPS. Must be close tho because i'm faster than those small bayliner 4 cylinder 16-17 feet.

58MPH was done 2-3 times, but It must be a mirror clear river. no wind and don't go against the current.

Just one wind shift and this hull rides different from that one, always fast times early for me on the glass like lake low humidity, red sky at nite - sailor delight, red sky in morning - sailor take warning.

most of those small bayliners go about 38-40 mph

My Speedster was clocked at 64mph , busted driveshaft and all ! Of course it was behind my truck at the time...
:stupid:
