Special precedures For Winterizing 08 255 Supercharged

I went to the dealer to get a quote on having my ski winterized and of course they want an arm and a leg. They told me something about have to remove the intercooler and turn it upside down for a duration of time. Is this really necessary??? and are there any special things that need to be done in order to winter this machine correctly.. ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated..
