So I called a local uphostery shop inquiring about having my seat redone. He quoted me $150 labor plus $95 for the material. GEEEZ I could buy a new seat for that cost. So I tried another place and the price was $25 less. PASS. Im going to order the skins from ebay and do the stapling myself. My foam is in good condition, just a a few small tears. Plus the seat is a very easy desgin to recover. How much anyone else pay to have it redone or did you do it yourself?:coolgleam:

Here in FL we have a guy that does them for $80.00 total cost parts and labor

on my old ski i had a 98 gsx and i had it redone for 40 bucks labor and i brought them the cover, i got them to just do it over the existing one, all you really have to do is put it in the sun for about a hour or so and then lign it up and staple the front and back and work your way around is from what i hear

i just did my 95 speedster myself with skins from Keith Haas. was very easy. the whole boat skins were 300 bucks....and i'm cheap labor. but the SS staples were a bit of cost. 3 boxes at 10 bucks a piece.

i'm guessing this would all be considerably less on a PWC though.

I just paid 325.00 for two seats. For covers, foam, and labor. Next time I think I will try it myself. After reading how many people do it on there own

Getting mine done in two tone leather for $50. Leather wasn't my idea. My girlfriends daughter ran over it one night I was out and she couldn't get it out from under the car. The engine burn't a hole in it. She took it to get repaired and picked BLACK Leather.. Thats where I want to sit in the middle of summer.
