Here is the womans new couch. 04' GTX I have the full rebuilt longblock to drop in. Just needs a pump and a dash and a dess post. And maybe a new seat cover.

And this is an 04' RXP. Engine needs to come out and get the updated 06' valves new timing chain and updated flywheel bolts. I will probably throw new bearings in the bottom and hone the cylinders with a new ring set.

Yah I hear yah I don't know what possesses me to want to work on these things... My wife really likes the GTX, she has been a little upset with me ever since I sold an 06' GTI i had awhile back. So this will chill her out and I won't have nearly anything into it other than time. I've also wanted an RXP so got this for a good deal its got a bunch of riva racing stuff on it too ... bonus!

Yup thats where I'm planning on sticking it (to try anyways). It's got riva sponsons, riva opas block offs, riva intake system, riva waterbox and through hull exhaust system, riva catch can some other stuff I'm probably forgetting. Its a pretty sick ski ... I've got a second longblock to drop in. I working a deal on a riva racing ecu with 50lb injectors and x charger. I wanna see this bitch hit 80mph. Member how I said sick ski ... pulled the engine and head today ... this is what i found. You think I'm okay to just tighten the head back up and hit the lake ... LolZ

I knew it was hydrolocked when I bought it ... but this block is hitting the scrap pile.

Actually heard back from a guy I use for machining (dropped it off this morning). He's saying the crank is okay (he balanced it) and he said he'll pop a new sleeve in # 2 for $300 (including the sleeve), so all in all I'm not that bad. There was a pile of other stuff that is salvageable off the block too. Rocker arm assembly, camshaft, mag cover to name a few. If yah need any 4tec parts let me know. I'm starting to run outta room.

I'm still looking for a blown 4-tec.

I came across one this summer... and the guy wanted $3500 for it. (Crazy) He said the parts were worth that much... so I said... then part it out.

If I find a clean blown 4-tec for around $1500... I'll buy it.

Hey Tony I hear yah, I spent $2000.00 on the RXP above but got some riva stuff with it that helped sweeten the deal and its basically a rip out old stuff in rebuilt and go. If you find just a 4tec tub that you like and need a block to rebuild I've got 4 of them (yes 4 4tecs) in my basement along with a S**t ton of parts. The cases are good but two of them each need one sleeve. But as you likely already know its best to just buy the ski with blown motor that has everything. It can get pretty expensive sourcing all the nickel n dime parts. Anyways if you or any other member needs some 4tecs parts you can pm me for what your looking for and I'll give good deals.
