Hi guys. Took my 95 XP out for a run on the weekend. Having a great day until....I lost power. Bang! No warning...engine just cut out. After getting it home I found the 5 amp fuse blown. Replaced it and motor cranked....then fuse blew again. Just looking for some thoughts on whether this sounds like a MPEM problem or short elsewhere? Am trying to get it booked in to get it looked at, but of course holiday season sees everyone winding down/already closed. Appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks!

Sounds like the MPEM, but I would do some additional testing before I condemn the MPEM. I'm moving this thread to the 2-stroke PWC section, I think you will get more help there.

-I believe if it continually blows the fuse then it is the MPEM. Like Lou said there is more diagnosis to do before knowing its 100% at fault.

-I have a complete good front elec box with MPEM, key, rectifier, solenoid etc. and everything in it for sale from 95' XP 717cc as well if you end up needing one. Let me know.
