So I posted the other day on mercury's mercmonitor and finaly got it in today, 2 hours later it works. If you don't know what it is it is a single digital guage that taps into your ECM on the motor. There's diferent levels of info that are dependent on your motor. This guage is a speedo, tach, batt, oil presure, water presure (will tell you exactly what psi your water presure is real time) fuel monitor, oil res monitor, etc...... you'll have to read for everything it does, but the cooledst thing is the alarm feature. Now when the alarm goes off it tells you what for. also any computer fent alarm such as oil level getting low is displayed. This is a must havefor most of yall who discover it. Like I said do some reading. there's diferent level guages. I got the level 2 with smart tow. You'll have to research smart tow also. My boats an 05 and I think it will work on 2000 on up.

There's three guage levels. Each level offers more info, but your boat determis what info is ultimatly available. click on each guage and it tells what info is available. http://www.veradoclubparts.com/category_s/48.htm
then you need a 75 dollar bus harness that connects the guage harnes to the ECM. But to connect the bus cable to the guage harness (included with the guage) you need a junction box (59 bucks) which also alows you to add any smartcraft guage to it. level 2 guage with buss cable and junction was $717.40 with 3 day shipping. if you em with the boat and were mechanicaly inclined the you'd pay 3-400 bucks to get the computer scanned for the reason your alarm was going off. There's so many other features to this I'd take a week to write it up, But I've never seen a seadoo with the guage, and wanted to spread the word that it works. I'm going out tomorrow to test it further.

yeah but after a week of owning it and having 2 coils go bad it'd have been cheaper to have the monitor and replace the coils myself than what I paid to have the shop figure it out.
