I got a 97 GSI that is flashing the MAINT code. What maintenance needs to be done, and can I reset it myself? It has about 70 hours on it, and runs great.

I removed the battery and had it checked and all is well there. I was told by the Seadoo dealer that the Maint code is for scheduled service. What I was asking is if anyone knew what service would need to be done (Plugs, Fuel filter etc. etc.) and if there is a way that I could clear the code.

Read the Manual, but I will save your fingers...

Hold the "set" button on the steering bars for 2+ seconds. this will clear it.

Change your spark plugs, fuel filter, oil filter and clear the code using the method above. If you haven't changed your jet pump oil, do it also

Excellent post... I just did a tune up to my 03 Seadoo GTX supercharged last weekend... I changed the Oil, Oil Filter & spark plugs but my maintenance light still appears on my screen...

Do i need to full start my Seadoo to petform this tip to clear the code..??

Thanks in advance...

Thanks... I actually did a "MAINT CODE" Search and this thread called my attention... I think is worth to try the 2+ seconds set button tip... I just wanted to know if i have to fire up the engine at the moment to do it or just insert the lanyard key and then hold the set button WITHOUT push the start button...

Anyway... Thanks for your advice... I will post any result out of this after i done it....
