Probably just a reminder based on hours. There are beeper codes that alert you to specific problems and display messages/warning leds. Download the service manual and read the section that outlines maintenance. If your GTX is a 96, 70 hours is pretty low. It must have sat around for long periods. If you know it sat around unused for a long time before you bought it, change out the gas, oil, oil filter and clean the fuel filter. If it still has gray fuel lines they need to be changed ASAP and the carburetors rebuilt using Mikuni OEM kits per the carb rebuild thread listed at the beginning of this forum. Good luck with it.
