is 75-140 okay for jrt pump

well that is what i used last night when i put it back together i have some ppl say to use 75-90 and some say 75-140 is it going to hurt anything.......
 
Tony is correct. I just checked the garage, I use Mobile1 LS 75-90, full synthetic. I guess I had a brain fart.

I know you already changed it... but to be honest... I don't know if it would cause damage or not. It will take more power to turn it, and the thicker oil could cause a bearing to spin in the housing.... but I can't say I've ever heard of it actually happening.
