Hey, for $150, you couldn't go wrong Glad you were able to find someone to do it locally. Post pics when you get it back

I recovered the chin guard (little piece between the handles) on mine in gray so it would tie in with the gray in the new seat covers. If you get a piece of the fabric from him you could even do it yourself its really easy.

He seemed to have plenty of fabric but with all the snow and the cold, my ski is not really movable to bring to him at his point (my trailer is buried under snow, can't even see it...). Ski is on a cart in the garage.

Can't you just take the seats to him? If they are in the garage on a cart. He doesn't need the entire ski.

Yes Yes, he's got the seats already. We were talking about that little piece of fabric between the handles that the local guy should replace with the new fabric he is installing on the seats but this is really not a priority. This is just a cosmetic thing anyway.

Check this out! WOW! The guy did a super job.

A bit paler but the color match with my ski is very good.

He ended up leaving the old vinyl under because when he tried he realized that all the foam would break. And look at the strap. He covered it and stitched the new one around. He also left me a piece of vinyl for a future handle bar job.

Is there a seat there? My eyes are burning from the orange carpet!.

JK Benji looks like he did a great job.

Yeah the orange red carpet is a bit vivid! My dad had that carpet installed a long time ago way before he sold me the family cottage. But if you look at the seat installed on the ski, color is perfect.

Now if the ice could just start melting...

No heat in sight... Weatherman doesn't see Spring until the end of March here.

LaCrosse sensors are very precise up to the minute.
