how long in salt water?

Just got my challenger 180, and I live near salt water. Does anyone have any tips about how long it can stay in the salt water before taking it out for a cleaning? Weekend, couple weeks? I've been thinking that jet skiis are in all day, usually day after day.
Anyone with experience?

I only use my 2008 200speedster in salt water. I wash it after each use in salt water, with freshwater and soap. Once a month I take it out and give it a good washing in and out. I also apply 2 coats of Teflon wax. I do this because I can. You can get away with a coat of wax once a month and just keep it clean after saltwater use.
