Hopefully somebody can shed some light for me on this. While fueling up turned the key on as normal to check the progress of the fill up. Everything was fine.......... went out on the water, after leaving the no wake zone looked down and nothing......... pegged completely empty. I checked the connection from gauge and tight, then it goes into wiring harness mess. Any ideas????????? Forgot to mention it is a 2002 Islandia.

My guess it's the fuel baffel that went out. I have had to replace it on both of my skis over the years. Either the magnet fell out of the float or the internal fuse has blown. Check with an ohm meter the resistance in the plug pins for the baffel ( the part on fuel tank with all the fuel lines connected ). If you were to short the two wires together with a small wire, such as the wire in a twist tie, inserted in the plug and plug reconnected, the gauge should read full.
