and i haven't even looked at mine since maybe july, when I did my top end. I do carry spares in the ski however.

I've ridden that ski, its scary to ride.

....so what's the difference in the fun/scary factor?
He said it will do 66-68mph.
Tim, you said my ski did 62, is 4-6 mph faster that much scarier?
A couple of the JetJunkies skis will do over 75...modded of course.....so what's the difference in the fun/scary factor?
Been dusting off that black and white 96XP when I've had the time this week. I'm still as impressed with the build as I was when I just saw a couple blurry pics on this site but know it much better now. Of coarse it is not "all good" as the ski went to it's second owner who was not so in tune with it. I'm gonna do it like a FS thread with the good news first.......and then the reality check.
The Good- It is an absolutely stunning ski. The paint is as good as factory in quality. If not for a couple little scrapes, there would be no way to know it used to be all yellow. It was obviously a well thought out build from the start. Everything is color coordinated and powder coated.
UMI stem(the more forward one) with purple anodized bars and switch holder
ATM carbon fiber hood
Hydro Turf seat cover and diamond plate foot pads
Minty Trackers sponsons
Jet Dynamics triple concave ride plate with shoe and #26 grate
Working trim (yeah, I listed that as an option)
APE (Arizona Performance engineering) Pipe
R&D Head and Pre Mix block off kit
The not so good (Honest Reality)- The Atm hood has a clear coating that is all cracked up and no room for a gauge. I got the trim working using two headlight relays (Justforfun's trim fix for under $20) but no gauge to read. I saw that they used no silicone between the shoe and the hull when reassembly after the paint job and could see a piece of the neoprene seal sticking out from between the pump and hull. There were no clamps left on the PTO boot. So I had to tear the area apart and put it together better.
The carbs were pretty clean but one needle and seat was leaky and they had rock hard clear fuel lines to discard. I was disappointed to see that they did not alter the jet sizes with the addition of the aftermarket pipe. The compression on the front is 170 and 160 in the rear. I've made some adjustments to try and stop the bleeding. I wired a hidden beeper back in it (they had the beeper wires going to the VTS). I found a partial quart of Penzoil universal 2-cycle oil :svengo:. The raves are not stuck but I see a lot of carbon on the exhaust outlet.
It seems to run perfect on the trailer but I will get a ride soon and obtain some rpm and mph #'4.
