wouldn't it be funny if the 99 xp only needed a battery, and the spx is gonna come with 2 of em, boom DONE, on the water :lol:

lol. ya that would be hilarious.... i'm going riding tomorrow, if the listings are still there when I get home, i think i'll be making calls, i'm down to two ski's right now and I like it....
 
I'm buried in Seadoos. It's so bad that I can see I'll have to start selling "keepers". If I had that 99 it would only make my upcoming decisions harder. I would much rather just see Spim get it.

I just got home with this little darling today. It's another victory due to this thread.

Well if Spimy won't then I will. Nam you should buy it for yourself though. You were gonna go get that 4-stroke crap for $800, now that 99SPX X4 is a real ski.
 
If that 99 spx was by me i would have been there by now, that is $3000 here all day long and it would be sold quick. Even if i had to but $1000 into the motor 100% profit

funny u mention that i just bought this GSX for $1200 last owner said it wouldnt start it had a flat battery and leaking welsh plug that has caused rust on the starter motor terminal so it wouldnt start this i sold the same ski 2 years ago for $3300 :hurray: hopefully in another 10 years we will be seeing similar prices over here to u guys in the usa

i gotta turn down everything right now, except the ones that are worth a TON more than they're asking, at least til all of mine are up and running, and so my fiance doesn't kill me, it's prob more hassle storing them for me right now, as far as these mid to late 90's two strokes, u guys would be able to get them running and flip them, but for me, I'll prob spend more time TRYING.

looks pretty worn to me, and with that kinda price I'm sure you can find a nice big aluminum trailer. How bout this, I'll try to help in anyway I can, if you find things you want, I'll start trying to gather them for you, eg. nice big long trailer, and project skiis, my biggest problem is storage, I simply can't store them, we can rent an outdoor storage, should be bout $50-70 for the month, but def run the risk of theft, and honestly, I wouldn't put my stuff there, so I don't want to assume liability. When u get down here, u take ur big trailer up, and u can leave the double trailer down here, and I'll try to sell it for ya. I would expect a price of about 250-400 for it. only thing I ask in return is gas money, my time pretty much isn't worth anything at all :), other than the fact that I should be doing more imp stuff
 
Heck I like that barge to. You could mount a dock lift on one side and winch X4's up on it. I have no idea why one would need to do that but it's just what came to mind.

I'm not carting them anywhere and renting them to strangers, that's for sure. Well, maybe for a race series situation.
 
curious how often you guys are changing your spark plugs, I've read after 3-4 rides, and I also thought I read every season, but I can't seem to find that post
