Can anyone verify if Polaris Synthetic Blend is equivalent to XPS?

I can get it at my Seadoo shop for exactly half the price. Guy at counter told me Polaris rep told him it was the exact same thing, but just to be on the safe side, I paid the $70 for ONE gallon of Seadoo XPS...

I would love to be able to get 2-fer-1!

I can probably get it online for much cheaper. I will look around ebay before I need anymore.

But, being the only seadoo dealer in a 2 hour radius gives him a little power to gouge...

It would probably be MUCH cheaper to have one of you guys buy me a case and ship it to me. :(

Hopefully, when I move inland closer to the lake, I will be able to find it with a little competition and cheaper.

By the way, moving in about two weeks :hurray: at least to a free temporary home that puts us an hour closer to the water.

actually i was just typing that out. if you ever want let me know and i will get a price quote on shipping it to ya. I work 5 minutes from the seadoo dealer here.

We pay about 35-40 for a gallon of XPS oil but that is because there a lot of dealers in the area and all are around the same price.

Scoop...

KAWASAKI Injection oil...meets/exceeds api-tc oil.....2 buks for 32oz..;) wont tell yuo where..:reddevil:

You guys are complaining about the price of XP-S!LOL!
Try living at the a**hole and of the world in Australia the cheapest I can get it for in Melbourne is $99 AUD. Thats $83 US at the moment.LOL!

But I live in HOUSTON!!! And I pay almost as much as you do in Australia. That is just plain WRONG. We are the oil capital of the world (or at least we think we are...). Our fuel is cheaper here than anywhere in the US, I would expect our oil to be pretty cheap as well.

WOW... did he kiss you first, before shoving it it so hard?

I bought a 3 gallon case of XPS Synth blend for $76.

Unless it says "API-TC CERTIFIED" I would not run it.

Since their watercraft uses TC-w3... I'd say a lawn mower shop. Most lawn equipment oil is API-TC mineral based... low ash, oil.
